Daniel A. Rosemond

Mr. Rosemond is the Founder and CEO of East to West Development Corporation (ETWDC). His 30 years of public administration experience, with specializations in affordable housing, community development and economic development offers notable value to the organization.   Prior to launching ETWDC, Mr. Rosemond served as City Manager for the City of Hallandale Beach, as well as Executive Director of the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA).   Prior to that, Mr. Rosemond served as Assistant City Manager/Community Development Director for the City of Miami Gardens, where in 2009 he gained national recognition for that city as the first to successfully implement the federally funded Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP).   Over the past 15 years, Mr. Rosemond has executed administrative level involvement of public funding and oversight of more than 70 affordable housing projects yielding approximately 10,000 units of housing. He championed the establishment of a new HUD entitlement city, cultivating 10-fold annual funding increase during a 4-year period. Mr. Rosemond’s past work experience includes budget preparation and oversight of annual city budgets in excess of $120M. He has also worked extensively with several non-profit organizations as not only a funding source, but also providing technical assistance and strategic coordination of services for greater community impact. His knowledge of federal and state grant funding regulations affords him keen insight into the complex structure of affordable housing deals. Mr. Rosemond holds a Master of Science in Public Administration from St. Thomas University, and is a Certified Credentialed Manger (CM) from the International City/County Management Association. Mr. Rosemond also obtained a Certification as a Redevelopment Administrator (RA) from the Florida Redevelopment Association in 2015. Mr. Rosemond has been married to his wife, Maria for 31 years. They have two adult daughters and the family resides in L.A. County.
